Vester Chair by Skagerak
The award-winning Vester Chair is discretely elegant and understated without losing momentum. Developed and produced for the iconic Danish seaside hotel, Svinkløv Badehotel, in collaboration with Nordic designer, Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm, the Vester Chair won the âFurniture of the Yearâ award at the Danish Design Awards 2020.
Vester Chair combines beauty and elegance with function and comfort. A transverse brass rod at the back indicates where to pull out the chair. Legs continuing up into the backrest form a small hook for hanging a purse or small item. The chairâs body in golden oiled 100% FSC-certified oak naturally contrasts the fine brass detailing in this award-winning piece.
Optional seat cushion in cognac leather can be added for additional soft comfort.
